Job Summary

  • Position reviews medical report documentation to determine/verify appropriate CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis code assignment, exercising independent judgment and decision making to determine accurate coding & billing.
  • Primary duties include reviewing Pathology reports in Epic Beaker, identifying pertinent facts for comprehensive diagnosis and procedure code assignment, and communicating with physicians as needed.
