Job Summary
In this vital role, you’ll be out in the field inspecting roads, bridges, drainage structures, utilities, trails, and other critical public infrastructure that communities rely on every day.
You’ll work closely with contractors, municipalities, UDOT representatives, project managers, and engineers to identify potential issues early and address them before they escalate.

UDOT Technician Level 1 training program
Travel frequently to job sites
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Work on active construction sites
