Fugro is seeking an Environmental Laboratory Chemist specializing in organic chemistry for their Basra Environmental Laboratory, offering a rotational schedule of 180 days on-site followed by 30 days off. Job Summary

  • Perform organic testing on GC-FID, Headspace GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, for water and soil samples to analyze and quantify hydrocarbons, volatiles, pesticides, etc.
  • Ensure that the laboratory is maintaining calibrations and verifications at all times.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring the laboratory produces quality, reliable data.
