Job Summary
This position is responsible for day-to-day activities of contract administration of major construction projects to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance and supervision of employees engaged in the inspection of these projects.
The position will assist in the management and oversight of NCDOT and Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) personnel for surveying, project inspection, and various contract administration duties.
The position requires proficiency in plan reading, highway engineering calculations, problem solving, and some personnel management.
