The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for the day-to-day activities in the rehabilitation department of an assigned facility or facilities, including direct and indirect services, supervision, and training of therapy personnel.
Essential duties include performing daily scheduling, providing direct care, assuring resident needs are met, reviewing and updating therapy services, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
The DOR must implement new treatment programs, monitor outcomes, ensure policy adherence, approve timecards, provide evaluation input, and attend facility and company meetings.
