Job Summary

  • The Safety, Health, & Environmental (SHE) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations at their assigned repair shop.
  • Ensures the company complies with all federal, state and local environmental and safety rules and regulations with regard to EPA, OSHA, DOT and DEQ.
  • The incumbent works to meet internal and external customer expectations at all times by fully applying oneself to the task involved, preventing errors, and developing and implementing personal quality improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
  • Ability to wear safety related personal protective equipment
  • Ability to enter tank cars via a manway opening
  • Ability to lift and carry 50-pound objects
  • Ability to bend, stretch and crawl
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to climb vertical ladders
