Job Summary
The Patient Care Assistant II functions as a member of the patient care team, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), and proficiently and consistently performs all aspects of the PCA role.
The PCA II is responsible for supporting the RN with clinical tasks, including but not limited to blood glucose monitoring, completing EKGs, applying simple dressings, using aseptic technique and responding to medical emergency situations utilizing Heartsaver CPR and AED skills.
In addition, the PCA II is responsible for responding to the needs of patients and family members and taking an active role in the efficient operation of the unit.

Salary
Base: $18.58 - $26.58/Hourly; Bonus/Equity: $750.00 sign on bonus for eligible new employees; Benefits: Not specified

Key Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
0-1 year patient care/elder care experience
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Basic Life Support [BLS] - Generic - HR Only preferred
Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Generic - HR Only preferred
Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician [National Certification] - Generic - HR Only preferred
