Job Summary

The Accounting Technician II serves in the payroll section of the Budget and Finance Division, with primary responsibilities in data processing, data analysis, policy interpretation, and resolving payroll issues affecting NCDA&CS.
This is a fully on-site position located in Raleigh, NC, requiring compliance with multiple state and federal policies and guidelines.

Key Requirements
Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
One to three years accounting experience
Two years payroll and time administration experience preferred
Must be current State of North Carolina employee or RIF candidate
Knowledge of NC HR-Payroll System (BEACON)
Veteran’s/National Guard preference documentation if applicable
