Job Summary

  • The Director, Communications serves as a key secondary communications and content planning and generation lead for football while also acting as the primary strategic communications contact for men’s lacrosse or other programs pending experience and staffing alignment.
  • This role develops and executes integrated content and communications strategies that elevate Ohio State Football and Athletics’ brand and enhance revenue-generating initiatives across platforms.
  • The position works closely with other areas within the external relations division including creative service, marketing, and development to execute the athletics department public relations plan and strategies.
