This role leads the implementation and day-to-day operation of governance frameworks across Genesys' enterprise data platforms to ensure data is trusted and secure.
You will partner with platform, engineering, and domain teams to operationalize data governance at scale while balancing enablement and guardrails.
The position requires 8-10 years of experience in similar roles within a cloud-based environment with strong knowledge of modern data platforms.

Enterprise data catalog and metadata management
Cloud-based data governance program leadership
Cross-functional stakeholder collaboration

Experience with Alation or Collibra tools
Familiarity with AI/ML data governance considerations
SaaS environment distributed data ownership models
Python and PySpark technical skills
SQL and Data Modelling expertise
Key Requirements
B.Tech/B.E or comparable qualification
8-10 years of experience in data governance or operations
Strong knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, and governance capabilities
