Job Summary

  • The Canadian Prescribed Fire Training Program will develop a nationally recognized framework to facilitate safe and effective prescribed fire application contributing to biodiversity, ecological resilience, and community safety.
  • The Regional Lead will oversee training and outreach programming, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development for British Columbia and Alberta, working remotely and collaborating with diverse internal and external partners.
  • This role involves curriculum development, managing teams, supporting quality assurance, and participating in budget forecasting and funding applications to support program activities.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in prescribed fire planning and implementation
  • Experience in project management and curriculum development
