Job Summary

  • The students will be able to familiarize themselves with various aspects of engine operability such as starting, acceleration and deceleration (handling), transient simulation, aircraft interfaces, electronic and hydromechanics control systems.
  • Contribute to engine sub-system definition like the controls system, generate transient simulation corresponding to aircraft maneuvers, establish test procedures, and analyze test results.
  • This work term offers an excellent opportunity to the student to get familiarized with gas turbine engine operability and its operation on helicopter or airplane.
