This role requires acting as a lead auditor on assigned cases and providing complex financial analysis and recommendations to the North Carolina Utilities Commission.

Recruitment Range: $70,478 - $110,123; Grade: NC20; State Benefits included
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Three years of directly related experience
Knowledge of GAAP and utility accounting practices
Experience auditing public utility financial records
Ability to testify before the Utilities Commission
Nice-to-have
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with Uniform System of Accounts
Familiarity with FERC Chart of Accounts
Ability to build cooperative relationships with stakeholders
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
Three years of directly related experience in utility auditing
