• Conduct comprehensive failure investigations on metallic and non-metallic aircraft parts using advanced microscopy techniques.
• Define test plans, qualify global test laboratories, and lead material test campaigns while managing Time, Cost & Quality expectations.
• Propose and lead digitalization and automation projects within the laboratory domain to contribute to overall Materials and process activities.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 Years of relevant experience
• Bachelors or Master degree or PhD in Metallurgy/ Material Engineering/ mechanical or equivalent
• Hands-on experience in aerospace materials & component testing
• Hands-on experience in Operating Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopes
• Expertise in sample preparation and examination
• Ability to identify failure modes
• Exposure to mechanical testing
• Basic understanding of statistical methods and DOE softwares
• Exposure to Implementation & qualification of Labs
• Good knowledge of ISO17025
• Thorough understanding of international testing standards
• Thorough knowledge on special processes
• Ability to read manufacturing / design drawings / BoMs
• Strong Project Management skills
