The role is responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of Export & Agency Finance transactions with a primary focus on China Export Credit Agencies.
Candidates must independently manage deals from A to Z, including client pitching, negotiation, credit approval, documentation, and execution while mentoring junior staff.
The position requires frequent business travel across Greater China and APAC to build relationships with key stakeholders and expand Santander's market presence.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
10+ years EAF structured trade finance experience
Deep knowledge of SINOSURE supported financing structures
End-to-end deal management from origination to execution
Senior level network with Chinese exporters and banks
Fluency in English and Mandarin languages
Nice-to-have
Experience with other ECAs like JBIC or NEXI
Additional Asian language proficiency
Mentoring and developing junior team members
Strategic initiative driving capabilities
Cross-functional collaboration in matrix environment
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business
Minimum 10 years relevant EAF/structured trade finance experience
Previous experience at a major bank active in Chinese export finance
Proven track record in SINOSURE supported transactions
Strong credit assessment skills and risk liaison experience
