Job Summary
BlueScope is looking for an experienced Mechanical Trades Assistant to support the maintenance and repair of plant equipment at their Port Kembla facility.
The role involves assisting with equipment setup, performing inspections, operating forklifts, and participating in rigging, dogging, and basic oxy cutting tasks.
Candidates will also be required to provide backup support to operate the wastewater treatment plant when needed while maintaining a safe and tidy work area.
