The Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG) that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities* for a period of 3 to 6 months across various sectors. The programme aims to support fresh graduates, with no prior working experience, from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions), amid uncertainties in the economy. It supports structured traineeships for trainees to gain hands-on industry-relevant experience and skills, preparing them for successful transition into full-time employment. All trainees must fulfil the following criteria: Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026 Applicants must have no prior working experience and must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship Make an impact by: Network Operations & Technical Support Support planning, testing, and commissioning of fibre, copper, and network equipment within Singtel exchanges. Troubleshoot network faults, connectivity issues, and infrastructure problems to ensure reliable service performance. Gain hands-on experience in telecommunications exchange operations and maintenance activities. Infrastructure & Maintenance Assist in equipment labelling, network record updates, and infrastructure documentation aligned with NGNIS standards. Support operational readiness through inventory checks, asset verification, and maintenance coordination. Participate in fault tracking, reporting, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) compliance activities.
