Job Summary

  • As a Furnace Operator III, you will construct, operate, or tend heating equipment such as heat-treating furnaces, flame-hardening machines, induction machines, soaking pits, or vacuum equipment to temper, harden and anneal.
  • Your schedule will be 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm – 7:00am, with overtime on a business need basis.
  • We have a brand-new state-of-the-art facility which includes new equipment, a cafeteria, onsite fitness gym, golf simulator, outdoor tennis court, basketball court, and pickleball court.

$1,500 Sign on Bonus; Shift differential and get paid for lunch; Eligible for Annual Increases

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Operate and maintain heating equipment
  • Perform refractory repairs on furnaces
  • Follow QA and Shop Floor policies
  • Operate furnaces using Distributive Control System
  • Maintain heat-treating records
  • Evaluate product quality and adjust equipment

Nice-to-have

  • Understand Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Experience in Heat Treat Operations
  • GD&T understanding is a plus

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. Person required
