Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Director of Animal Health Programs/Livestock within the Veterinary Division.
  • This role involves administering and enforcing North Carolina General Statutes designed to aid in the diagnosis, control, and eradication of diseases in livestock and poultry.
  • The Director directly supervises four field Veterinary Medical Officers and indirectly manages eleven Animal Health Technician I positions along with administrative staff.
