Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of credit products
  • Ability to interpret credit bureau reports
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
  • Knowledge of federal/provincial consumer collection laws

Nice-to-have

  • ALD certification preferred
  • Experience with FICO score analysis
  • Ability to adapt beyond call scripts
  • Background in loss mitigation processes
  • Proven track record in relationship management

Key Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Consumer Collections laws and regulations
  • ALD certification (preferred but training provided)
