As a Curriculum Advisor you’ll be at the forefront of educational change, working directly with schools, kura and early learning services in your region to implement curriculum and assessment and aromatawai changes.
You will be part of a regional team using the Curriculum Advisory Service to support schools and early learning services to implement the knowledge rich curriculum with effective practices to impact learners.
The role offers a permanent, full-time position based in Hamilton, Waikato with a salary range of $100,296 - $121,490 per annum plus 3% KiwiSaver.

Must-have
Whole school curriculum planning and delivery
Knowledge of National Curriculum
Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
Experience leading educational change
Familiarity with te ao Māori and tikanga Māori
Ability to coach and motivate educators
Travel availability with NZ driver licence
Nice-to-have
Deep understanding of science of learning
Experience with diverse community outcomes
Diplomacy skills
Ability to build partnerships
Pedagogical content knowledge development
Key Requirements
Full current NZ driver licence
Proven experience in whole school curriculum leadership
Expertise in National Curriculum
Familiarity with te reo Māori and mātauranga Māori for Māori Medium settings
Ability to adhere to Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct
