Job Summary

  • The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Lab Technician is responsible for performing analytical testing and performing procedures and other tasks satisfactorily through means of internal and/or external training.
  • Essential duties include operating and maintaining equipment, preparing media, maintaining training on lab policies, and performing various analytical tests such as PCR, microbial enumeration, moisture testing, and shelf-life studies.
  • The role requires maintaining lab records, performing data entry, reporting results, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, Laboratory Quality Manual, ISO 17025 standard, and Impartiality Program.
