The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants as required by regulations.
This role involves working with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times, and also includes providing direct resident/patient care.
Responsibilities include coordinating staff recruitment and hiring, managing payroll and benefits, planning and conducting drills, and supervising staff, including disciplinary measures.
