Job Summary

  • The position offers prospective and current Penn State students the opportunity to gain experience in athletics media relations, communications, and content generation.
  • Student assistants will perform various tasks including recording statistics, assisting the media, transcribing press conferences, and managing team-specific social media accounts across 31 intercollegiate programs.
  • Level two assistants serve as primary communications officers for specific sports programs, generating feature content and responding to media requests under full-time staff oversight.
