Job Summary

  • The Civil Structural Engineer contributes to the team responsible for the development of Civil Engineering activities in support the New Plants Engineering projects.
  • Perform design and analysis of Nuclear Power Plant Safety-Related Structures in accordance with specific codes and perform Soil-Structure-Interaction (SSI) analysis.
  • Interface with internal and external customers, suppliers, partners, the NRC and international regulatory authorities on technical issues.

Must-have

  • SAP4, ANSYS and/or NASTRAN
  • Hydrodynamic input loads analysis

Key Requirements

  • Professional Engineer registration (US/Canada)
  • Bachelors of Science Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in energy business
  • Minimum of 3 years of nuclear power plant BOP/TI design
  • Minimum of 2 years of program or technical leadership
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer/regulator/supplier interaction
