** Valeo is seeking an Injection Molding Tooling Technician for their 2nd shift in Hamilton, OH. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tooling and CNC machining, with responsibilities including mold repairs, machine operation, and mentoring junior staff. **

Job Summary

  • As an Injection Molding Tooling Technician, you will be responsible for performing work such as basic heat treating, MIG/ TIG welding, silver soldering, precision hand fitting, and performing rework for necessary repairs of mold damage and flash repairs.
  • This role will disassemble molds and repair as necessary and operate large cranes while manipulating molds up to 15 tons.
  • Must be able to manipulate Catia, UG, and MasterCam (or similar) software. Must be able to design complex geometry using solid modeling and create cutter paths ready for CNC machining.
