Job Summary

  • Capture daily news across a wide range of topics and environments, often under tight deadlines, and work closely with Investigative and Special Projects teams to produce compelling, high-impact journalism.
  • Operate station-issued equipment including cameras, sound, lighting, editing equipment, LiveU/Dejero live packs, and live trucks, while adhering to all safety guidelines and standards.
  • This position requires a high degree of flexibility, including willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel throughout the TV market and occasionally beyond.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in News Camera/Field Photography
  • 3-5 years of experience in a top ten market
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds of equipment
  • Must be able to stand for at least 2 hours at a time
  • Must be able to walk up-hill, down-hill and different types of terrain
  • Must be able to operate a live truck
  • Must be proficient working with Edius edit v.9, and newer
  • Must have strong understanding of computer/IT workflows
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
