Job Summary

  • It’s the mission of the NC Department of Transportation to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • This position serves as a Transportation Planner II within the Ferry Division Planning and Development Unit and is responsible for leading and coordinating the Division’s statewide and regional planning, programming, and grant development activities.
  • The role requires strong analytical capability to evaluate data related to ridership, revenue, capacity modeling, service development, and economic impact in order to support planning recommendations and funding strategies.
