Job Summary

  • The Patient Care Associate supports the registered nurse in patient care activities, such as: assisting patient with activities of daily living, collecting specimens and performing procedures; maintaining a safe, clean environment; and other duties as needed.
  • Functions as a member of a patient focused multidisciplinary care team providing a full range of services to patients in an assigned area (Inpatient units, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, ICU).

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years current experience as PCA/CNA preferred
  • Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, Finger stick and EKG skills
  • Computer skills
  • BLS required (American Heart Association)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
