Job Summary

• Positions in this job family are responsible for the inspection and investigation of hot water heaters and amusement rides to determine compliance with applicable national, state and local regulations, codes and/or manufacturer’s specifications.
• This includes the investigation of complaints, accidents or reported incidents for cause and determination of safe operating practices, equipment failures or violations.
• Applicants must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position and be willing to work hours other than on regular shifts during emergency or high volume situations.

• One year of experience in machine or electrical maintenance or monitoring, hydraulics, pneumatics, heat and air, machinist, steel fabrication, or small/large engine repair
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to conduct inspections and investigations
• Ability to apply safety codes and standards
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
