Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for supporting the mechanical system engineering activities for the BWRX-300 SMR system design and coordinating with site construction activities.
  • The engineer will review, coordinate, and manage Field Change Notices and Non-Conformances Reports while ensuring compliance with safety regulations during fabrication and construction phases.
  • Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada and may require access to U.S. export-controlled information subject to specific citizenship restrictions.

Salary

Base: $130,000 - $180,000 CAD (Canada); Base: $111,200 - $213,200 USD (US); Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus; Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid holidays

  • 8+ years engineering experience
  • 5+ years nuclear system design
  • Process flow diagram development
  • Thermodynamic and heat/fluid calculations
  • Field Change Notice management
  • Non-Conformance Report handling

Nice-to-have

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
  • Ontario P. Eng license
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with BWRX-300 SMR systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects dynamically

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience
  • Minimum 5 years in nuclear system design
  • Ontario P. Eng license (preferred)
