Job Summary

  • Positions involve procurement, purchasing, contracting, and/or acquisition of goods and services for an institution or agency, including lifecycle management from planning to supplier performance monitoring.
  • Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing specifications, maintaining bidder and supplier information, conducting bidder conferences, evaluating bids, mediating disputes, and advising agency personnel on rules and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • Three (3) years of technical clerical work plus two (2) years of experience involving procurement, purchasing, contracting, or acquisition; or an equivalent combination of education and experience substitution is allowed for the three (3) years of technical clerical experience only.
  • State of Oklahoma Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) required within eleven months of appointment.
  • Willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel.
