The Director of Finance will manage financial operations for the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education and collaborate with Departmental Units and the University Administration to meet strategic goals.
This position will provide leadership, training, and counsel to academic departments regarding finance and administration operations, including managing various budgets like UA Foundation Funds, fee and revenue funds, state-appropriated funds, auxiliary funds, and grants.
The role involves overseeing position management, tracking temporary positions, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws, and acting as a liaison between the college and the Financial Services division.
