Job Summary

  • The Welder I is responsible for the assembly, tack, and MIG welding of iso-bend pipe, fittings, and special products to engineering specifications.
  • Candidates must be able to read blueprints, calculate cut lengths, and perform visual inspections for defects and cleanliness prior to assembly.
  • Applicants are required to pass a Crane welding qualifications test including an 8-inch coupon plate test with X-ray requirements.
