Job Summary
Under direct supervision of faculty members, the lab assistant performs routine, standardized air conditioning laboratory work requiring close attention to detailed procedures in the preparation and basic maintenance of air conditioning laboratory equipment.
Duties include but are not limited to assisting faculty members with classroom instruction, adherence to safety procedures, and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction; tutoring or mentoring students; cleaning labs as needed; and obtaining materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials.
All lab positions are part-time, temporary positions offered on a per-semester basis based on the needs of the college and do not include benefits or promises of future full-time employment.
