The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program designed to meet the interests and needs of each resident.
Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting individual and group activities, maintaining communication with residents, families, and staff, and assisting with activity care plans and resident assessments.
The role requires assisting in arranging transportation for residents, developing monthly activity calendars, and ensuring the Activity Department remains clean and orderly.
