Axiom Space is seeking a resilient and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) Operations Engineer to support the development of a Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) in collaboration with Astrolab for NASA’s Artemis missions. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in human spaceflight operations, particularly in Extravehicular Activities (EVA) and Extravehicular Robotics (EVR), along with strong problem-solving and communication skills

Job Summary

  • This role supports NASA's LTV Services contract by defining operations concepts, crew training plans, and procedures for the Lunar Terrain Vehicle.
  • The successful candidate will conduct design audits and Human In The Loop testing while evaluating EVA crew interface designs with operational inputs.
  • Employment is contingent on Astrolab/Axiom winning the NASA LTVS contract award and requires a U.S. government background investigation.
