Job Summary

  • Assists the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff.
  • Works with the DON to recruit, hire, train, and manage nursing staff, including appraisals and disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for ensuring resident safety, providing direct resident care as needed, and acting as a liaison between residents, families, and physicians.
