The Pre-College Programs graduate assistantship offers unique insight into pre-college programming at the University of Maryland and plays a critical role in the day-to-day operation of the Terp Young Scholars program.
The position includes tuition remission, health insurance, opportunity to teach an introductory freshman course for additional compensation, and collegially supported absence time.
The GA will assist with marketing, program administration, hiring, training, and supervision of undergraduate assistants while sustaining a safe environment for program participants.
