Job Summary

  • The Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner works as part of an inter-professional team to provide efficient, high quality, cost effective care in the outpatient clinic setting, telehealth visit, and occupational medicine.
  • Obtains patient history and performs assessments using interview, observation and physical examination and orders and interprets diagnostic testing as needed for patient care and provides direct patient care and management of health conditions utilizing prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers.
  • Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue.

  • 3 years’ related working experience
  • Current License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (NP)
  • License as a Physician Assistant (PA)
  • NCCPA Certified (PA)
  • ANCC or AANPCP Certified (NP)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Eligible for Prescriptive Authority
