Job Summary

  • The Bus Operator will drive a transit bus on campus and city streets to safely transport members of the campus community and the general public on fixed scheduled bus routes.
  • Razorback Transit offers paid CDL training to help you obtain the required Commercial Driver’s License for this position.

Salary

Operator in Training $20/per hour; 750 hours of experience: $22/per hour; 751-1500 hours of experience: $23/per hour; 1501-2500 hours of experience: $24/per hour; 2501 hours of experience: $25/per hour; Benefits: university contributions to health, dental, life and disability insurance, tuition waivers, 12 holidays, immediate leave accrual, retirement programs

Key Requirements

  • Pass DOT physical examination
  • Obtain DOT medical examiners certificate
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Age 18 or older
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing
  • CDL Class B or higher with Passenger Endorsement
  • Experience operating large transit vehicle
