Firsthand is seeking a Peer Recovery Supporter, referred to as a Core Guide, to support individuals living with serious mental illness (SMI) through outreach and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess lived experience with SMI and/or substance use disorder (SUD) and have strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and assist individuals in achieving better health

Key Requirements

  • State Peer Recovery certification, or eligibility and willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Two (2) years demonstrated recovery time
  • Lived experience with SMI and/or SUD
