Job Summary

  • The Licensed Practical Nurse assists in the planning, assessing, implementation, and evaluation of holistic resident care within the standards of practice as outlined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
  • The LPN provides nursing services and interventions to patients, clients, and/or residents with stable and predictable health status, based on assessment and care planning procedures, and within the LPN scope of practice.
  • Work involves collaboration with RN/RPNs and/or immediate supervisor when patient, client, and/or resident condition is no longer stable and predictable, or the care is outside the LPN scope of practice.
