Job Summary

  • The Sr. Manager, Environmental Health & Safety Generalist will be responsible for providing direction, planning and oversight of EH&S policies and programs to ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations and corporate standards within the Charlotte manufacturing plant and engineering (R&D) building.
  • This role will directly manage one EH&S Specialist and provide overall EH&S leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly and salaried management team members to ensure employee health and the environment are protected.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of practical EH&S management experience
  • Master’s degree in related field (preferred)
  • Previous EH&S experience in manufacturing (preferred)
  • Recognized EH&S Certification (Desirable)
  • Strong computer experience in MS Office and EHS data systems
