Job Summary

• The Protection Officer provides technical leadership and coordination support to ensure protection responses across Cabo Delgado and Nampula Provinces are strategic, coherent and aligned with international standards and national frameworks.
• The role includes direct engagement with government authorities and partners to support protection activities, emergency response, and durable solutions for internally displaced persons, returnees and host communities.
• The incumbent supports quality case management, referral systems, protection monitoring, and provides policy, legal and operational advice to senior management and partners in a complex and high-risk operational environment.
