Job Summary

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for major grants supporting projects in North Kivu, South Kivu, and Ituri provinces.
  • Support audit preparation, enforce compliance, and coordinate with partners to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Must-have

  • Grant management in NGO environment
  • Budgeting and forecasting for grants
  • Financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Use of Sun Systems accounting software
  • Compliance with donor financial policies
  • Partner financial coordination
  • Fluent in French and English

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with WFP and UNOCHA projects
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently under pressure
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
  • Travel to project provinces quarterly

Key Requirements

  • First degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
  • Minimum 3 years grant management experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and WVI FPP
  • Experience with Sun Systems, Vision XL, Vision Executive
  • Fluency in French and English
