Job Summary

  • This role offers Service members the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience through the Military DoD SkillBridge program during their last 180 days of service.
  • The Test Technician Level 2 is responsible for executing borescope inspections, troubleshooting, and performing test operations for GE/CFM commercial engines while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
  • Participants will collaborate with cross-functional teams including EHS, quality, and engineering to drive operational initiatives and support constant improvement site-wide.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Active Military personnel on last 180 days of service
  • Borescope inspection experience required
  • Mechanical and inspection experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns

Nice-to-have

  • Proven leadership in process improvements
  • Experience with SAP or Oasis ERP systems
  • Commercial high-bypass turbofan engine testing background
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
  • Desire to learn constantly in OWS test operations

  • Federal Aviation Administration Powerplant certification
  • Designated Inspector status
