Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree required
5 years post-qualification experience in data privacy
2 years senior consultant level experience
Expertise in DPDPA 2023 and GDPR regulations
Leading client engagements on data protection
Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
Nice-to-have
CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPT, or CIPM certifications
Knowledge of IT systems and cybersecurity practices
Experience with incident response planning
Ability to deliver targeted training programs
Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities
Openness to regular travel requirements
Key Requirements
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Law degree
5 years total experience in data privacy and compliance
At least 2 years at a senior consultant level
Relevant certifications like CIPP/E or DCDPO preferred
In-depth knowledge of Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023
