Job Summary
This role focuses on owning the detection of critical system events from vehicle logs to facilitate rapid issue resolution across the organization.
The engineer will design, implement, and maintain event detectors that surface safety-relevant behaviors from field data to accelerate root cause analysis.
Candidates must partner with data engineering and simulation teams to operationalize detectors within automated pipelines and regression suites.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
3-5 years automotive or robotics engineering experience
2+ years working on autonomous driving systems
Experience writing signal-based detectors against log data
Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy) and SQL
Knowledge of sensor modalities like camera, lidar, radar
Familiarity with autonomous vehicle simulation platforms
Nice-to-have
Experience with distributed data platforms like Spark or Dask
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
Ability to continuously learn new software and workflows
Experience linking field observations to system-level requirements
Key Requirements
