The Solar Technician position is a journeyman level position requiring the skills of a journeyman electrician or Power Plant Technician.
Duties include inspecting, evaluating, testing, cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining various solar photovoltaic module systems and associated AC and DC equipment.
This position is represented by IBEW Local 1245 and is subject to collective bargaining, with a starting wage rate of $65.27 per hour.

Key Requirements
Journeyman electrician or Power Plant Technician qualification
Minimum of 5 years experience operating and maintaining electrical equipment/utility solar generating facilities
Valid State Driver's License with good driving record
